The Quality Inspector role ensures that our administrative functions operate efficiently. Receiving incoming shipments, inventory control, processing repair information, completing minor repairs, and updating our databases are a key part of keeping the Engineering Service Group running efficiently.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Coordinate the receiving and tracking of products in need of repair and inspection.
• Enter and maintain accurate information and logs of repairs into our database.
• Order, receive, and inventory products and parts for use in repair and inspection.
• Proactively identify areas to improve efficiency and initiate projects to achieve improvements.
• Perform regular quality assessments and minor repairs on incoming materials and products.
• Reject products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations. Qualifications
• Communication – must have both excellent verbal and written skills to communicate ideas and technical information.
• Attention to detail – all processes from inventory to repair requests need a high level of attention and detail.
• Time management skills – must have the ability to prioritize and organize work efficiently
• Analytical skills – must be able to “think outside of the box” to troubleshoot and solve difficult problems
• Computer skills – the daily use of computers in a previous job experience is needed for this position including Microsoft office programs and custom software applications.
Requirements
• No degree required.
• Relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 30 – 70 lbs. boxes
