SUMMARY – The Applications Developer/Analyst will have the primary responsibility
for monitoring, administering, implementing best practices and overall daily technical
support of the Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, FASCOR, and Microsoft SQL systems.
This position is responsible for all aspects of Great Plains ERP application support,
FASCOR WMS/TMS support, pricing engine support, and operational and development including maintaining, configuring and updating the system, security, integration, administering the change control process, providing technical support, implementing new functionality, vendor management, application standards and supporting best practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties
may be assigned.
∙Support and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics GP environments including
Production, QA, and Test for the company and its subsidiaries;
∙Support and maintain the FASCOR WMS/TMS environments including
Production, QA, and Test for the company and its subsidiaries;
∙Support and maintain the new pricing engine and platform for Commercial.
∙Collaborate daily with existing IT staff to build business knowledge and support
continuous improvements to existing processes and ongoing integration projects;
∙Partner with IT, Accounting, Operations, and other areas of the business to
implement application changes to improve processes;
∙Serve as the GP application subject matter expert for integration and daily support
initiatives;
∙Act as lead contact for all Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP application related
requirements;
∙Provide end-user support of Microsoft Dynamics GP and related third-party
applications;
∙Administer security roles and tasks in compliance with corporate policies;
∙Proactively monitor application health;
∙Document application support processes and issue resolutions;
∙Plan, manage, and support required application upgrades;
∙Create and maintain SQL scripts, queries, stored procedures and ad hoc reports;
∙Code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications
following SDLC standards;
∙Administer the change control processes in compliance with corporate policies;

∙Assist in solving production problems in a timely manner, including off hours and
weekend support when necessary.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of five years of related work experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk
or hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Manual
dexterity to perform keyboarding functions is required. The employee is required to sit for
long periods of time and is occasionally required to stand and walk. Required to lift up to
10 pounds. Requires close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and
ability to adjust focus.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
∙Strong knowledge on the use and administration of MS Dynamics GP 2015 or
greater and MS SQL Server.
∙Strong experience creating and supporting integrations between Great Plains and
other applications.
∙Solid understanding of financial systems, data analysis, budgeting and business
operations.
∙Experience developing and deploying reports in SQL Server Reporting Services
(SSRS).
