The Dental Assistant will support dental care delivery by greeting and seating patients, preparing treatment room by following prescribed procedures and protocols. The Dental Assistant will prepare instruments, and materials; pass instruments and materials to Dentists and Hygienists; performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act. Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests. This position requires Prophy & Sealant Certification.

• Setting up for dental procedures
• Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment for each patient
• Restocking rooms
• Organizing and laying out instruments for dentist's use
• Handing instruments and other materials to dentists during procedures
• Taking X-rays
• Taking impressions and cord packing
• Assisting during all dental procedures (Extractions, Implant placements, Crowns, and Root Canals)
• Making patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment

Qualifications

• Coronal Polishing and Sealants Certification - Preferred
• Bilingual is required
• Must be good at multitasking, problem solving, and a cooperative team player
• Possess excellent communication and organization skills

The qualified candidate will have a high school diploma and professional dental certificate, excellent oral and written communication skills and computer proficiency.
