DESCRIPTION: The Admin Accounting Clerk will monitor customer accounts and work closely with the Accounts Receivable team in Knoxville to facilitate an efficient and effective work flow.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Post customer payments by recording transactions.
- Update receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
- Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, other departments and customers.
- Resolve and coordinate collections by examining customer accounts.
- Research and correct deposit variances/errors.
- Set-up new accounts and maintain current accounts with or without Fintech.
- Correct prices and invoice discrepancies.
- Utilize Eostar for adjustments and / or create reports; submit Budnet files as needed.
- Stand-in during the absence of the Route Rec Clerk and Reception/Accounting Assistant.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Accounting background; understanding receivable a plus
- Good Excel skills; create spreadsheets, work with formulas, formatting, etc.
- Attention to detail with good follow-up skills
- Strong analytical and organization skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
